Medium: approx 21cm diameter and 17cm high. Weighs approx 3kg including pestle. Wooden pestle approx 25cm long.
Large: approx 25cm diameter and 22cm high. Weighs approx 5kg including pestle. Wooden pestle approx 32cm long.
Extra Large: approx 31cm diameter and 29cm high. Weighs approx 7.5kg including pestle. Wooden pestle approx 39cm long.

Made from earthenware – a tough, durable kind of pottery, these are genuine Thai mortar and pestles, of the same kind used in Thai kitchens. Perfect for crushing herbs and spices. Note: these are hand thrown pots – so sizes will vary slightly and surface imperfections should be expected. These are authentic asian cookware items.

This is a 100% authentic Thai cookery item, and is heavyweight, strong and durable. Exactly what Thai (and Laos) chefs use. Not a Western copy and as recommended as the ideal size for most Thai cooking by Nuke (who is a tutor in Thai cuisine).
