Medium: approx 22.5cm diameter and 19cm high. Weighs approx 3.6kg including pestle. Wooden pestle approx 28cm long.
Large: approx 28cm diameter and 24cm high. Weighs approx 5kg including pestle. Wooden pestle approx 32cm long.
Extra Large: approx 32.5cm diameter and 29cm high. Weighs approx 10kg including pestle. Wooden pestle approx 39cm long.

Made from earthenware – a tough, durable kind of pottery, these are genuine Thai mortar and pestles, of the same kind used in Thai kitchens. Perfect for crushing herbs and spices. Note: these are hand thrown pots – so sizes will vary slightly and surface imperfections should be expected. These are authentic asian cookware items.

This is a 100% authentic Thai cookery item, and is heavyweight, strong and durable. Exactly what Thai (and Laos) chefs use. Not a Western copy and as recommended as the ideal size for most Thai cooking by Nuke (who is a tutor in Thai cuisine).
