This chest has a mirror which folds inwards into the box when the lid is closed.
Outer is of red lacquer leathered appearance with decoration in traditional Chinese style and featuring crane motifs and gold finishing.
Inner decoration of Chinese lettering newspaper motifs.
Very attractively decorated with traditional Chinese style illustration.
Finish has an antique aged style, so small imperfections should be expected.
