This is an authentic handwoven hanging /table runner from Laos. Absolutely stunning work which would have taken a great deal of time to make. Handwoven with silk threads onto a cotton base, and surrounded on all sides with a black cotton border.
Depicts a design of flying creatures including birds, butterflies and bats.

Age: Late 20th Century. Not often found outside of South East Asia.
Long length: Approximately 165cm long. Width 60cm.
Measurements include the long border edges of 10cm wide and the top and bottom borders which are 14cm wide.
