Rolling Marble Ball Water Feature Fountain – different sizes and colours
These stylish marble spheres sit on a complementary marble base.
Simply attach the outlet on the base to a pump and the water will rise up under the marble bowl – just flick with the hand and the ball will rotate under a continuous coating of running water. Direction can be changed by a small hand movement on the ball.
The water creates an almost friction free environment for the ball to continue rotating. A low powered pump will work perfectly well. In Thailand these fountains can be manufactured up to around 1 metre across, and despite the enormous weight, can still rotate without any problem.
Often used by feng shui practioners in Asia.
The marble bowl is very finely ground to create a perfect sphere, which rotates beautifully on the base with a gap of just thousandths of an inch.
For indoor and outdoor use.
