Thai Rice seed box – Very Large 69cm high – CM1708.
Dimensions approx 69cm high, 46cm wide and 46cm deep, but will vary due to hand made nature and slight design differences. The design is in the northern Lanna style – heavily influenced by Burma. this design is in a white and black traditional floral pattern.
This lidded box is made from a lacquered circular bamboo frame, woven onto a square wooden base. Made using traditional Thai craft techniques.
Although called rice seed boxes, such boxes are used to store not only food products, but serve as general storage vessels.
A totally hand crafted product so some small imperfections should be expected.
