Made from stone, this is a genuine Thai mortar and pestle, made in Thailand and of huge size!
Please check the size and weight carefully before ordering as this is not intended as a very portable mortar and pestle. Its size will mean it is more likely to be used as a decorator’s piece but it is of course fully functional.
Weighs approx 26kg with Pestle.
Approx 34cm outer diameter including handles, 24cm high (known as 12 inch size – though this does not really get across how large and heavy this mortar is). Pestle approx 33cm long.
Very large mortars such as this will have imperfections in their outer finish and this should be expected.
