Thai Xylophone, Ranat Ek, Medium size 64cm long.
This traditional Thai wooden xylophone, known in Thailand as Ranat Ek is the lead instrument in the instrumental grouping known as the piphat.
This instrument comprises 13 wooden bars suspended over a carved resonator trough which also serves as a storage area for the 2 hard wooden mallets.
Approx size: 64cm long x 18.5cm wide and 31cm high.
